SQUARE LOVE

Kesya, that’s my name, simple and easy to know. I got up from my bed, went to the bathroom, and prepared to go to school. At school, like usual my best friend and I gossiped first.

 “Hey! So all of you don’t invite me,” surprised me to Gita and Alex who talked each other. They were my best friend, they and I were best friend from junior high school. We are looked like brother and sister although there’s Alex between us, he was the only one boy.

“Hey! Good morning princess overslept ,” mocked Gita and Alex.

“Ish, how irked! What do you talking about?” asked me.

“There’s a new student. She’s very beautiful and perfect. All of boys like her, and you are nothing,” said Gita jokely.

 “Ohh, then Alex likes her too?” asked me. I asked about that because I was afraid Alex liked her too, honestly I loved Alex since long time ago but I kept it secret and no one knew about this feeling, even it’s Gita. Let me safe by myself. I don’t want if our friendship broken just because I loved Alex.

“Ya, it can be,” said Alex by laughing.

“HAH??” Gita and I surprised.

 “Yaaaaah, I’m hopeless, I miss you Lex,” Gita suspected.

“Hmm Alex, wish you know that I love you, I miss you,” I suspected.

“Hah? What happens with you all? Don’t dazed, hey!” said Alex surprised us.

“Well, come on go to the class!” said me.

The school bell ringing. I decided to go home now. Usually, we were hanging out, ate together, and told some stories first till night then went home. But now I felt so lazy to gather with them.  

 “Hey Git, where’s Kesya? Come on we’re gather in some places,” Alex invited.

“I don’t know. I’m lazy, next time, okay?” said Gita ignorantly.

“Why? I wanna tell an important story.”

“I said I’m lazy! Tomorrow maybe, I wanna go home, bye!” said Gita sharply.

“Okay, be carefull ya.”

After a week we were never talking each other and Alex looked us oddly because we stayed away from him. That evening, Alex arrived at my home and Gita’s home, we gathered. Gita and I was silent, I don’t know why Gita was so ignorant to Alex. Alex told much stories with us, automatically we must listened his story about loving that new girl. Alex told us he was being her boyfriend, her name is Indah, I surprised hearing that but I don’t want if Alex knew everything. Then Alex asked about the oddity of us that had different behavior.

 “What happens with you and Gita? You all are different, I miss you all that always support me, always care for me.” Said Alex. I just silent, Gita too. We don’t know what will we said.

“Why? Usually, you and Gita were open mind. Answer me!”

“We are okay Lex. What about you and Indah? Happy? Long last for you all, you are harmonious.” Said Gita by holding out her tears.

“Long last for you Lex.” Said me, suddenly I was crying too. I didn’t understand why Gita and I cried, Alex was confused with our behavior. 

 “Okay thank you Git, Kesy, Why do you crying? What happened?” said Alex.

“No problem Lex, we will like usual, right? I miss you all,” said Gita by huging me and Alex.

“Yah, we must back to our friendship like usual. I miss you too all. Don’t be wroth again,” said me by huging Alex and Gita tightly.

“Please don’t be like that again, I’m confused what should I do. I miss you all, don’t go again, I need you all.”

Then we were joking together like usual and Alex invited Indah to tell some stories with us. Indah and Alex was harmonious, they have anything more than me and Gita. There was no one knew my feeling to Alex and let it be my experience. Apparently, love our best friend was so painful but not all so painful. Sometime it was enjoyable when your bestfriend with you although he never knew about this feeling, but kidding and joking it’s enough for me although he wasn’t mine. Gita and I loved Alex but Alex loved Indah and Indah loved Alex too. Square love.
